Hi All, come on out to a hoop dancing workshop taught by the beautiful and talented, Patika Starr. Ladies are welcome to join us. Here are the details...Let me know by sending a private message if you want to come!

Hooping is sexy and is an amazing form of exercise. It can also be meditative and is a wonderful way of creatively expressing yourself. With fast music, hooping provides a great cardio workout and burns fat. Hooping targets core strength, but is a great toner for the whole body. The best thing about hooping is its fun!

In Patika's beginners hoop workshop, we'll explore the fundamentals of hoop dance and go over the basics. Using adult sized hoops you will learn to keep the hoop up, how to move with the hoop, off body hooping, angle hooping, lifting the hoop off your body and other impressive tricks. We will then apply all that we've gone over to dance- hoop dance! Patika will include in the class a short hoop dance performance to give you an idea of where you can take your hooping. The class is 2 hours long and their will be an additional break in between hours and a performance at the end.

What to Bring: Please bring $30.00 for the class (cash please) water, sun block, a hoop (if you have one), and a smile!

What to Wear: Dress in clothes that are tighter fitting and will allow you to move. It is best if the fabrics you wear are not slippery (like shiny lycra). Cotton is a great fabric. Hoops stick best to skin. We recommend wearing sleeveless or short sleeve shirts and shorts or a mini skirt (one that allows you to move).

What will be provided: There will be hoops that you can use in class and some to sell. There cost is $35.00. If more hoops are required than I have to sell, you may special order them.
